Chayya Habib

Chayya is the daughter of two ordinary land-cultivators in a distant settlement, both long since gone to the Plague. Once she was of age she signed up with the military, only to drop out less than two years later for reasons unknown. She is currently employed doing odd jobs in the midsized city Ganede, as well as hiring herself out to any of the nearby backwater villages to help exterminate monsters, usually too small (the towns XD) for the military to respond efficiently. Though not terribly talkative, she's rather lighthearted and playful. She suffers a noticeable lack of confidence in her own decision making powers, and it is to this that most people attribute her guildless status.

Ruach Ishoa
Age: 17
Guild: Mining
Ruach was one of the few people readily willing to befriend a Vagrant like Chayya upon her arrival at Ganede two years ago, and the two have since become nigh inseparable, having a very siblinglike relationship. Ruach started life in the Alchemy guild, but the guild leaders soon found that he had a penchant for getting a little *too* happy with the experimentation, and has since been gently nudged into a more stable line of work, away from volatile substances. Every so often he finds himself still tinkering with the various potions and contraptions in his house. Amiable and trusting, he's generally an okay guy, though he tends to be irrational and overexcited, rushing into things where Chayya run facefirst into her indecisive blocks. ^^;

Neshama Amran
Age: 22
Guild: Clergy
Fresh out of her studies in the Scholarly City, Neshama is the relatively new head of Ganede's religious affairs, and effectively head of state, simply by the nature of the job. She is abrupt and efficient and confident, though she is prone to unsettling fits of infantile behavior. Notorious for being a stickler for by-the-book management, it comes as a surprise to no one that she was chosen to succeed the deceased Priest before her, as he was just as rigid. The rumor mill circulates that she possesses a genius intellect, and that this is how she managed to graduate from her studies so young.
